Palampur Resolution(1989): BJP National Executive’s Most Important Resolution On Ram Temple

The Bharatiya Janata Party’s national executive passed a resolution in a meeting held at Palampur(Himachal Pradesh) in June, 1989. It was one of the defining moments for the movement to build the Ram Temple at Ayodhya. For the first time, a major national political party had openly supported this movement. This was also one of the major milestones for the BJP as it emerged as the unchallenged solitary voice of Hindus in India through this resolution. You can read the full resolution here-
